Very High Alkalinity Cylinder Oils (BN 100) for 2T Marine Diesel Engines

Very high alkalinity cylinder lubricants are specifically designed for lubrication of modern low-speed two-stroke marine diesel engines, including Tier II and Tier III engines, operating with high sulfur content residual fuel oils.

These lubricants have an exceptional acid neutralization capacity based on a high BN of 100, which effectively neutralizes sulfuric acid generated during combustion and prevents cold corrosion in modern 2T engines. This property is especially critical in operations with high sulfur heavy fuel oils (HSHFO).

Thanks to their advanced formulation, these oils are capable of maintaining efficient cylinder cleanliness even during long periods of intense operation, preventing deposit formation and reducing the risk of damage to pistons, rings, and liners.
