ECOWORK SMT 455

ECOWORK SMT 455 is a nitrite-free soluble oil, specially developed for machining operations of steel and aluminum, capable of working brass, providing a high level of surface finish on automatic lathes, transfers, and CNC machines.

PROPERTIES:

· Opalescent white emulsion that provides good cooling to the cutting area giving good anticorrosive power on the moving parts of the machine tool.

· The service life of ECOWORK SMT 455 emulsions, due to their stable nature, avoids consequent problems and significantly improves workshop hygiene. Therefore, its service life is much longer than conventional products, being able to be used in centralized baths.

METHOD OF USE:

· To prepare ECOWORK SMT 455 emulsions it is necessary to use water with hardness between 40 and 80ºHF and chloride content not exceeding 600 ppm.

· To achieve a good emulsion it is advisable to pour ECOWORK SMT 455 over the water and then stir.

· Water must NOT be poured over ECOWORK SMT 455.

· Usage doses are from 5 to 6%, depending on the type of operation and material used, so it will be recommended in each case by our Technical Service.

PRECAUTIONS:

· When an ECOWORK SMT 455 emulsion is put into service for the first time on a machine tool that has used another product, it is advisable to clean and disinfect it.

· This is essential when the emulsion has had fermentation problems.

· For cleaning, we recommend using a specific product such as our ADITIVO LIMPIADOR, following the usage instructions from the technical information and advice from our Technical Department.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Avoid automatic emulsion dosing installations with copper pipes, always use PVC.
