In the race held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit corresponding to the FIM JuniorGP, Álex Escrig finished in a magnificent second position after coming back from a serious injury to his left hand sustained during a test. With this race, he concluded the 2022 season, achieving third place in the final classification within the Moto2 category. Álex entered the 2022 season in the electric category finishing 9th, combining it with the FIM JuniorGP of Moto2.
