Description
The 15W-40 ACEA E2 / API CF-4 is a heavy-duty diesel engine oil, formulated to provide reliable performance in older generation diesel engines, both naturally aspirated and turbocharged. It is especially indicated for applications requiring robust lubrication, good thermal stability, and effective protection against wear and deposit formation.
The ACEA E2 specification corresponds to a classic European standard for heavy-duty diesel engines, designed for engines without complex emission control systems, while API CF-4 is a category from the American Petroleum Institute aimed at diesel engines, especially turbocharged, from the mid-1990s, providing good control of soot, deposits, and wear.
This lubricant is usually formulated on mineral bases and is a cost-effective and reliable solution for mixed fleets or older vehicles where Low SAPS oils or compatibility with DPF or EGR are not required.
